Ultimate Fighter moves to FX

Postby Kyle Shiely » Thu Aug 18, 2011 9:40 pm

Ben's breaking news makes it sound like Ultimate Fighter is being canceled. I'm sure he meant for people to know it is just moving to FX for two more seasons at least. Some interesting changes. The show is moving to Friday nights, and the fights will be live! They will tape the show during the week and then air the clips before the live fights, so we'll be seeing what is happening the in house in almost real time

Bad news for the fighters, that means living in the house for 12 weeks now. Yikes.

First season on FX starts in March.

That sounds like a good way to freshen up a increasingly boring show. Now let's just hope they start picking the best fighters as opposed to the ones that are most suited to "entertain" with their immature actions. I am so sick of seeing these fucking cock faggots who get on the show because they are good at practical jokes but suck at fighting.

They retain the rights for any programs that aired on SPIKE (Fight Nights, TUF) until the end of 2012 but there will be no original programming on SPIKE and stuff like Unleashed and Best of PRIDE go to FX as well.
